I spend a good 5-7 minutes filling in my brows every time I do my makeup. I absolutely love the dipbrow by Anastasia because it lasts the entire day and that is especially good for me because I live in the extremely hot and humid climate of Dubai. Sometimes I’m so lazy with my makeup that I wipe my makeup off around my brows just so that I don’t have to do them the next day… I’m sure I’m not the only one who wants her brows to stay in place for as long as possible… Now imagine not having to fill in your brows for 2-3 days straight after filling them in once! Crazy right! That is what Wunderbrow gel has been claiming.
I picked up Wunderbrow gel on my recent visit to London. Since I had heard so many great things about it, I was super excited to try it out. This gel comes in a total of 4 shades and I was in the shade brown/black. The product itself is a gel-like formula, sold in a tube with a built-in brush. It’s very thick, and I quickly discovered that less is more. I only tried using the provided applicator once before switching to a stiffer angled brush. Unless you have very dark and thick brows, I’d recommend the same; the built-in brush just picks up too much product. Overall, Wunderbrow does everything it claims to do. It fills in gaps, makes brows look thicker and fuller, and also helps to set them in place. It lasts all day, and it won’t budge if you get caught in the rain. The final look, especially if you brush through with a spoolie, is quite soft focus. I had high expectations of this product and boy did it pass them all! My brows stayed put for three days! Washing my face nor the shower had washed off my brows! That being said I was careful as to not rub soap directly over the brows while washing my face just in case…
This product really is a semi-permanent brow solution and I highly recommend it to all my lazy girls out there…
