I picked up this little beauty from the Benefit makeup counter last year and I’m so glad I did! As you may have already guessed, I’m not the one to shy away from heavy makeup even in the hot weather but keeping the makeup put throughout the day is the real struggle. On a regular day, I wear makeup on an average for 12 hours which mean I go out in the evening with the same makeup I put on at 8 in the morning. Now that’s quite an expectation from a foundation and during my training at Makeup Forever academy, I learned that the key to long lasting and fresh looking makeup is a good makeup primer followed by foundation.
In all honesty, the reason I bought the POREfessional primer because of the hype. I thought it was one of those gimmicky products and I was completely expecting it to fail but oh boy! Was I wrong!
I’ve found that the POREfessional makes my skin look so good that I can wear it on its own without foundation! This makes the appearance of my pores minimised, my skin tone evened out and my skin so silky soft to touch. My makeup looks so much smoother over this primer as if I have perfect skin. This primer really is a magic potion.
I used this primer under foundation and it helped my makeup to stay longer than it would on its own, as well as creating an almost flawless canvas for my foundation to be applied to. The silky finish of the Benefit POREfessional makes it so easy to apply and blend my foundation.
If you can’t tell already, I love this product! Also, it is oil-free and has a matte finish so is perfect for my troublesome oily skin.
