How To Get Insane Volume In Your Hair

How To Get Insane Volume In Your Hair

I just realized I have never done a hair product review. I properly started paying attention to my hair quite recently after I changed my hair color from light brown to it’s natural black. It’s more difficult to pull off dark hair than I imagined. I loved my brown colored hair but coloring the roots every two months was taking a toll on my hair.

I have long, frizzy, course hair and I don’t really style them much, not even for special events. I like to just quickly go over them with a flat iron before any event and I’m done (Never mind I probably just spent an hour on my makeup alone). I guess I’m just not a hair person.

So a while back I was watching this hair tutorial where this YouTuber applied two hair volumizing sprays to her roots before blow drying and the end result was insane volume. I thought why not give it a try since I love super volumized hair with not extra effort whatsoever on my part.

I picked up TIGI Bedhead’s Queen For a Day Thickening Spray and the Super Star Blow-dry Lotion. Now on to the application… I applied both the products generously in succession to my freshly washed and towel dried hair roots and blow dried my hair upside down for maximum volume (it is heat activated and should be applied to wet hair prior to blow drying).

TIGI claim that Bed Head Superstar Queen For A Day Thickening Spray and the Super Star Blow-dry Lotion creates long-lasting volume, body & lift, with light hold & natural feeling, without stickiness. It is aimed at those with fine to medium hair texture, of any length. Lastly I spary a fine mist of Headrush Shine Spray from the same line.

Following use, my hair looked sleek and shiny and I noticed super volumized hair! I mean in the past this sort of volume could only be achieved by back coming for me. I kid you not, the volume lasted up to 3 days for me (when I eventually washed my hair). I’ve been following this routine for the past 3 months now and I can say this has CHANGED my hair game especially because gaining volume with long hair like mine is a struggle as the weight of the hair alone can make the hair look flat.

If you have ever used hair thinking or volumizing sprays, do let me know your thoughts!
