Anastasia Beverly Hills Artist Palette (Limited Edition)

I’m not really an eye shadow girl because I go so dramatic on my eyeliner I don’t think there is much room for eye shadow. This eye shadow palette was my third ever in my life (first two being Two Faced chocolate bar palette and the Naked 3).

Let’s start with the packaging, I love the material, is sturdy and great for traveling, the concept is beautiful and creative. I think is one of the best the brand has created. The palette comes with a mirror and a double-ended makeup brush. The brush is really soft and great for blending, not so much for packing product on the lid though.

The palette comes with 12 colors. 2 fully matte colors (Dusty Rose and Phresh) 4 satin or semi matte colors (Coal, Aubergine, Buttery and Blue Velvet) and 6 Shimmery colors (Unicorn, Anaconda, Baby I’m A Star, Orange You Fancy and Beigely). I believe Dusty Rose is the only permanent color in the Anastasia Beverly Hills normal eye shadows. It’s definitely a very summer and fun palette, it’s not your typical neutral palette and I love that. You can create so many looks with it. It’s very versatile!

The eye shadows are pigmented but I did found the purple color to be very sheer, I like to use this palette with an eye shadow base as they really help with the color payoff. This is a limited edition palette. Is it worth getting?? If you are new to the Anastasia Beverly Hills world, Yes! I think this is a great way to start. Is it a must have? No, but you do get nice colors.
