I started seeing an ad for a wing eyeliner stamp about a month ago. From the short videos Sanfilippo had on their Instagram, I was really intrigued because the application looked so effortless! I don’t think I’ve been this excited for a makeup product in a while. I’m sure we all remember our first times trying to get the perfect wing eyeliner….and failing miserably….*sigh! I was so terrible at wing eyeliners that I had to allot myself 30 minutes extra in my makeup routine just for the eyeliner…
The stamp comes with dual ends. One side is the wing stamp and the other a felt tip eyeliner. The stamp also comes in two sizes for the wing, one thick and one thin. It did take me a few times to perfect the technique when I first started using it but once I did I was literally doing wing eyeliners in 1 minute!
Now the technique is to stamp on the wing towards the end of the eye socket (keep the stamp pressed on the skin for 2 seconds for complete transfer). Then flip over to the felt tip side and connect the eyeliner to the rest of the eye. That’s it! I love how easy this stamp eyeliner is! It’s the ultimate wing eyeliner hack for beginners!
I would say the two downside to this product for me is that it’s not a waterproof formula and eyeliner is not very black but other than that it really is an amazing invention.
