I have never tried any Dior foundation previously. So, I was totally curious about this particular foundation.
I love how it’s very light when I put it on my face. It doesn’t feel sticky, nor tacky. It just feels absolutely like my skin, like it’s barely there. Since I expected this foundation to be light-weight, I didn’t expect much coverage. I think this foundation has a light to medium coverage. I didn’t mind it at all. It covers just enough, but still let my skin shows through.
I was expecting some kind of light-reflecting particles on this foundation, since they claimed it was “brightening”. To my surprise, there weren’t any particles that I can see, no shimmers, no glitters, just normal foundation
The coverage on this foundation is where this product really separates itself from the rest of the foundations that are currently out there on the market. I think we can all agree we have been sold the idea that every foundation needs to be glowy, radiant, and look like “skin”. What I love about Star is that it is bringing back that ultra glam, red carpet ready, perfected skin foundation look back into the beauty world.
The foundation really stays locked onto the skin for the entire day until you wash it off. I have been wearing this foundation for a solid two weeks now and I can tell you that this stuff does not move once it goes onto the skin. With that being said the foundation doesn’t cling onto any dry patches or weird spots which makes this foundation truly universal for almost every single skin type!
