Lime Crime Velvetines
In all honesty, I have always been a fan of matte finish lipsticks only. The main reason being, I always opt for bright colors and bright colors are far more wearable in matte finish than in glossy tones. For this reason I’m always looking for matte lipsticks. On one such hunt I came across Lime Crime’s Velvetines and now I’m a huge fan!
I have four shades from them which I will talk about today:
Wicked
Bleached
Riot
Faded
The quality is great as usual and the formula goes on liquid and dries completely matte. Perfect!
These are waterproof and very long lasting. However, I have to touch it up after eating. It’s not a big thing but if you want to have it “perfect” I would recommend checking your lips after eating. Apart from this, all the colors look beautiful the whole day.
Overall, I would say the Velvetines are an absolute must have! They have not let me down in comparison to some other makeup products (that receive waaay too much hype). There are more shades in the Velvetine range but they were sold out- so as soon as I can get my hands on them, I will (especially suedeberry).
